Most apt metaphor I’ve seen. Take your star.
Also, HOW!?!?
If the Raiders consider themselves the nWo of the NFL, then Gruden has gone full red-and-black Sting-in-the-Wolfpac.
Obviously, Mike Mayock = nWo Hollywood’s Stevie Ray.
Heck, these Games’ll be the first ones I can remember where the opening & closing ceremonies will halfway take place in one stadium (the Coliseum,) and half in the other (Kronkeworld in Inglewood.)
The city of L.A. owns the Coliseum, but USC is the controlling authority. Has been for years...which is why they’re the ones paying for the current renovations. Timely!
Ooh, a “Manitowoc Minute” reference!
Is Charlie cookin’ again?
Uh, no. Bart was QB at Alabama...on an admittedly terrible Crimson Tide squad. He wasn’t the Packers’ starter right away, spending time behind Tobin Rote & Lamar McHan in the late 1950s.
And at one time, Lombardi offered Tom Landry any two players on his roster for Don Meredith...but the Cowboys said no.
Lombardi…
C’mon, commenters, this one was RIGHT THERE.
So THAT’S where Lady Gaga got her Super Bowl entrance idea.
