wait wait.... For some reason I have this impression looking at the ghoul cowboy guy, but please tell me you play as a ghoul.

Sounds like this was the rise of ideologies, and we've been repeating the pattern in ever faster iterations ever since. Massive buildup of people, and soon groups aggregate around certain ideas and then factionalize over subtle but major differences which may have been so slow because the lack of writing means

I think we should figure out if its very specifically a human caused event, or something else. If something else.... I'm not sure we should. Evolutionary forces are a bastard sometimes.

that would be amazing.

The way I see it is, in both examples, its just a 3 year separation. Honestly no one bats an eye at a 25-27 year old and a 30 year old dating or even being married. Methinks christian morality and western fears of sex are partially responsible.

its so happy :D

I'm inclined to think its more for melodramatics who actually want a lot of attention. Seriously, no one is going to be staring at the person constructing a fabric egg around themselves? As someone who absolutely hates other peoples attention, this is exactly the opposite of a good idea to me.

Everyone sees everything with double thick nostalgia lenses, and generally blinkers as well. Its funny to me because its fractal, a community doesn't need more than 20 members or so before you start hearing about how great it was back when 'X' was a thing.

That's the whole idea behind an A.I. The programming isn't what defines its capabilities, but is what allows it to exist and consider itself as a thing. At least, that's the idea behind a sentient A.I.

Gina Torres is so badass :D

Ahhhh ok, yeah I remember hearing about that. And Xerath had a thing too yeah?

What exactly did League do though? I keep reading that they nuked their storyline and changed everything, but when I play league all the character back stories look identical to me. I mean, Ionia is still a thing, Noxus is around, what was the change? Or was there an overarching storyline that was even further

Flight of the Navigator is so fucking awesome. That ship is glorious. I will say, I think only Serenity has really managed cursing well, and mostly because to our untutored non-mandarin speaking ear it sounds fine. I'm curious how agonizing it is for people who speak it well or natively to watch Serenity now...

well, DLC wasn't always based on money either, that started being common around 2005 or so. For instance, Total Annihilation offered a ton of new maps units and buildings for free on their website when it was rolling. It was more "Holy fuck guys, this internet thing is awesome, we could totally inject new content

I regularly pick up Doom of any sort. DoomRL is a personal favorite, though Brutal Doom has been a glorious distraction the last bit. Fallout 1-2 have been constantly present on my machine, and if I had a joystick Freespace 2 would be getting played a lot more. I still hop on Descent 1-2 with mods occasionally to

Gravity was just tedious for me. And their orbital mechanics were agonizing to watch after becoming so familiar with Kerbal Space Program. You can't just fire your thrusters at your destination, you're in orbit! You're decelerating or accelerating or changing your orbital plane by just doing that! Blarg.

Well the math proving exactly that has been around for years, but this clock is giving a particularly concrete example. The higher up you go and less gravity, the less drag on the strontium atom's movement, so the clock accelerates. Closer to the core of the planet (but not the center, that's more or less weightless

Hahahh yeah I had the same thought after it ended

That was such a perfect reference. I really really really wanted Thor to pick up the puzzle ball.

Nah I'm with you man, I couldn't get past 4-5 episodes, its just so unspeakably early-'90s. I feel like Zack and Slater are going to walk through the set in the background or something. And maybe a neon-colored geometric shape with wiggly lines too.
