Agreed, especially on point 2. I think the MLS is doing good stuff, and should continue to do that.

One thing I never get is the critique of we need backstories on every single character. Accept they have their own motivations and live their own lives.

Honestly, he’s great. I remember hearing a story that in his prime, Ichiro had such good command of the bat and was so tuned in, he could hit the ball anywhere he wanted to, anytime he wanted to. Basically, he’d be a doubles hitter or have some pop if he really wanted to. Just an incredible hitter.

Is it a bummer? I’m hoping to get it soon, but now I’m unsure if I should spend the $60.

I miss my LEGO Mindstorms. I wonder if it’s storage somewhere at my parents’ house.

I hope they approve more than just the framework. Where will they play? Where will the fans sit? And the luxury boxes? Approving just the stadium’s framework seems very shortsighted.

Apes fighting alongside the humans too? Interesting.

This may be cynical, but this sounds like a money grab. If Baylor lets this go to trial, wouldn’t all sorts of stuff be made public? Who knew what, and when?

I was just in Pigeon Forge in early November. Awesome views. I hope the cabin I stayed in is still standing.

Get the fuck out of here with this game. 8-7!

THREE stories about the Giants? Come on.

I’d say run with a friend or running group too. Good motivation!

The lack of a “Send” button still bothers me.

Good. This makes me so happy. Long overdue.

So, a worse Destiny?

I also wonder if part of the reason people dislike ARod is he tries to hard to be liked. In my eyes, it appears in the media he’s a fake, but isn’t. But I think a lot of people think he’s fake and therefore is less likable.

But are all those sports as reliant on scheme as football is? Baseball, no matter what ‘system’ you’re in, is basically the same.

The other problem is no two coaches run the same system. Chip Kelly runs an offense his way — where can a team that employs Chip Kelly find another coach that runs his offense for a minor league team? And, because coaches often get fired, it’s not just a question of finding a new coach, it’s like finding two new

Some of these new droids and Stormtrooper designs are just awesome.

I remember hearing something similar when Ichiro first came to the Mariners — the guy can do whatever he wants with the ball. Singles? Easy. Doubles? He could put balls down the line. Homers? He could put them over the fence.
