My fix for teaching myself more comfort with Centigrade/Celsius was to go to “Milligrade/Celsius”: Just think in terms of, say deci-degrees on a 0 - 1000 scale. Voila! No decimal point. So 300 (deci-)degrees in this scale is 30 degrees Celsius.
