I guess I’m confused on how providing a free education worth at least $150k is “barely paying” scholarship athletes. Free tuition, room, board, meal plans, books, tutoring, life skill training, strength and fitness training, physical therapy, travel, etc., is compensation, and not insignificant at that.

Yet another article about yesterday’s tragedy that wants to put it squarely into the realm of gun control, while completely ignoring the racially motivated nature of the crime. We can’t have a true discussion about guns if we also can’t stop being hypocritical about what is a hate crime, and what is not.
