While they are pulling some ideas from the Yuuzhan Vong arc, I don’t think there’s any chance in hell that this is building toward actually bringing back the Vong. Everything in the new canon points toward this leading to Snoke and the Acolytes of the Beyond.

I’m actually pretty sure that Han Solo look was inspired by an old deleted scene, which they made a figure of a few years ago.
