Martin published ADWD *after* Rothfuss delivered his last book, so that one’s on you. If you wanted prolific, you should have moved on to Sanderson.
Single player games have to be easy and cater to you?
I’ve seen bad treatment outside of gamedev as well (I spent 5 years programming outside of gamedev, and 5 years in gamedev). But thankfully, in Europe it’s mostly the attitude some programmers have, instead of a company just wholesale treating QA like shit.
This take is interesting to me. I’m a game developer myself (hell, I live in Poland, which is where CDP is situated), and I appreciate Jason’s efforts to highlight bad industry practices to a wider audience, outside of game development circles. We seem to agree on this point.
