jeez any mention of female representation really brings out the easily offended crazies.

Which is why it only reflects a part of a larger problem… like I just said?
why exactly? It may not be a good way to measure female representation overall, but placed in a larger context it helps to illustrate the lack of female relationships on screen. That is a problem.
"Mulan saves Japan"
but technically wouldn't talking about the bechdel test fail the bechdel test? It's essentially about men, and the patriarchy.
No mention of Oscar Nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes? Such a random bit part, she would've made a strong addition to the cast.
I will CRY if Katee Sackhoff isn't cast. Cry literal actual tears that are wet and coming out of my eyes.
Katee Sackhoff as Captain Marvel please.
*small voice* i like laurel
Hey Libby don't forget Richard's "joke" about Doug being small. Seriously, ugh.
Oh gosh, so many incredible moment and scenes. Episode 12 is hands down the best episode this show has produced. It looked GORGEOUS.
Easily, Roslin and Adama for favourite ship. I was pretty resistant to Apollo/Starbuck on the initial run of the series but over the years (probably tying into my own personal relationships) their relationships surreptitious complexity (and adorableness) has grown on me.
I cant remember the exact AVC guidelines for awarding an episode an A+ but I feel like this is the episode that deserves it.
Yeah is that actually the case? I didnt catch that in the episode.
I just really love how everything we know about the supporting characters is filtered through Claire's perspective. We don't know who these people are outside of their interactions with Claire and I find that kind of storytelling fascinating to watch. This show is a keeper.
The hilarious, lingering shot of Alak's face when Christie told him what she'd done, sold that entire plotline for me.
10 minutes into Selfie and this is prety awful, as expected. It feels like one of those cheesy live action kids Disney shows. John and Karen deserve much better than this.
That seemed to be the case but then she saw the prospective third party, had some electric interaction with her, and then totally looked up for the idea.
I really liked this episode. Pottinger's motives do seem weird, and I hope hope hope they flesh it out beyond creepy crush, but a lot of the emotional character beats in this episode won me over. Stahma's reactions were gold, particularly her scenes with Amanda - Jamie Murray nailed the scenes. And the sisterly bond…
I really liked Tory, and thought they dropped the ball by not developing a strong friendship between her and Roslin. It could've made her role in the last season more compelling, and given us a decent female/female friendship that the show sorely lacked.
