I love dogs. They are the best things in the entire world. LEAVE YOUR FUCKING DOGS AT HOME.
I love dogs. They are the best things in the entire world. LEAVE YOUR FUCKING DOGS AT HOME.
Well, of course exceptions and all of that. Like, if my company owned a full building or multiple floors have an area that is dog friendly and have one that is not. Or, have it known from the start “We have dogs. If you work here, you kind of really need to love dogs.”
Living in LA, I see dogs in places they’re not supposed to be ALL THE TIME. People have a certain entitlement when it comes to dogs in this city, and it’s really obnoxious. I don’t really have strong feelings one way or the other on the workplace issue (as long as there’s a place for people with allergies/fear of dogs…
I’m not anti-dog! I love dogs!
My sister had a job that was dog friendly (in LA, of course) and I was totally shocked that that was a thing. I had never heard of anything like that, at the time.
I was a lot more dog friendly before my mother turned into one of those people. You know who I mean. They take their dog everywhere but somehow continually fail to notice or correct the completely horrific behavior of said dog. She didn’t used to be like this. She used to criticize people for being so dogcentric.…
Dog training is hard and it takes a lot of work and you can really piss people off if you live in the city and don’t have the time to do it well. This is the reason I don’t have a dog yet, though I want one terribly. It’s also the reason that so many dog owners infuriate me. Like, you think I don’t want to go down to…
There was a woman at a job I was at who had an emotional support dog that she let run RAMPANT all around the office. The building was a pet-free zone, but she’d insisted anyway. She finally gets told to stop bringing in the dog after it pooped on the floor or something, and she threw an absolute fit about it. Lady, if…
I love my dogs. I love your dogs. I love dogs I see on the street. I love all dogs.
And also most these places as far as I’m aware still have shit policies when it comes to childcare yet now everyone and their mum can bring pets in.
I like dogs. I am also horribly allergic to your dogs. Please stop bringing them on the train. To the laundromat. To the Grocery store. To restaurants. To pretty much everywhere that isn’t outside. if you can’t run errands or eat lunch without your fucking dog, you have a mental problem.
Let’s not pretend that Amazon and other companies are allowing people to bring their dogs into work because they care about employee happiness. They are doing it because employees will work longer hours if they don’t have to go home to take care of their dogs.
I think content like this is our only chance at any form of gun control. It should be shared far and wide and everyone should have to watch, most especially politicians in the pocket of the NRA.
Maybe I’m an asshole for saying this but...
These kids are going to be voting soon. Some this fall, a lot more in 2020. You think they’re going to vote for the assholes who put the value of their lives at zero while holding their hands out to the NRA?
At this rate, it seems the only chance for any meaningful change is the interminable number of people personally affected by gun violence for whom gun control becomes a priority as a voting issue.
We can’t deal with white, right wing domestic terrorism until we can say it out loud.
“Thoughts and prayers”, aka, “we’re doing nothing as hard as we can.”
My students are giving presentations today and when the google slide went off, Yahoo had a pic of a body and a pool of blood on its landing page. What in the entire fuck?! This just happened seven minutes ago and the bell rang and the kids filed out and I feel like I just assaulted them. This is some bs.
