Full disclosure: didn’t see the movie, but read the plot summary. Also spoilers.

Mmmm, gratuitous violence against women under the guise of “art”.

These tropes are getting very tired and it just points to lazy writing. It would be much more compelling to find something to develop a woman’s character that doesn’t include rape/abortion/murder.

Apparently lots of people didn’t.

Give the man some credit. I’m sure he’d prefer living under Hillary than Ronald Reagan 2.0. He’s just happy that this election has blown all the racism in America wide open.

Now that we’re living in Trump’s America, it’s only going to get worse.

Just read Leah Remini’s memoir about escaping Scientology (pretty good btw). She talks about her encounters with Cruise and basically characterizes him as a spoiled child that nobody will ever say no to.

She probably followed instructions to do this. They’re just throwing her under the bus since it backfired. Nice people.

This is some weird performance art, Washington Post.

Even if it’s nothing but child porn, I can’t see that making any difference whatsoever.

Uh, quite a few Boomers still have living parents. And presumably most of them would love to see their children and grandchildren. But nice try.

I have apparently been living under a rock because the last few weeks are the first time I have ever heard of the Alt-Right. Who are these people even? How are they any different than “regular” white supremacists?

Why is this just up to the Millennials? If you are advocating that people break up with their families, Millennials are in about the worst position to do that (saddled with debt, lots still living at home, etc.)

“Cat’s out of the bag, guys!”

I was hoping his narcissism would prevent him from taking advice from anyone else (especially Pence), but it’s hard to imagine him actually giving a fuck about US policy.

Fair point. But the thought of him making America into a theocracy in the meantime makes me feel ill...

I think both he and Milania were somehow unaware of the intense level of scrutiny that comes with running for office. And if they thought that was bad, now actually BEING president will bring it up another notch.

Thank you also. But President Pence, ack!

Horrifying.

I hope enough Trump supports are paying attention to see that he’s going to break most of his campaign promises. But somehow I just don’t see that happening...
