Except rolling back environmental regulations... that even the industries they’re supposed to help don’t seem to want. Seriously, who’s going to retrofit a factory to make incandescent light bulbs just to own the libs? And recently, reducing restrictions on mercury emissions. And fuel efficiency... It’s the opposite

A plague, Las Vegas, and an evil leader. It’s The Stand for fuck’s sake

I work in a five star hotel and casino in las vegas. I scrub floors, shampoo carpets, take out trash, so on and so on. and I have chronic asthma.

The other night I remembered that Trump is a germophobe and so marginally less likely to catch anything himself... which combined with his typical rich boy juuuust-good-enough-to-avoid-total-ruin luck, means he will almost certainly never get the Rona... but remembering it made me too infuriated so I’m pretending I

I’m convinced whatever-god-you-covet is giving us our Darwin moment.

Oscar Goodman was born in Philadelphia. But after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, he ventured west to Sin City, where he became a high-profile lawyer representing the mob.

INGSOC wasn’t anywhere near this fucking inept at being evil.

The pandemic is a nightmare for him.  He actually has to at least go through the motions of doing the job of president, which he hates, and he can’t do the only thing he likes doing as president, which is hold his maniacal frothing group white grievance therapy sessions.  The daily briefings are a nice substitute, but

I can imagine, if restrictions are lifted now, people going to restaurants and bars and stores in their own towns, maybe (especially in towns with lots of MAGA chuds who think they’ll own the libs by going to Fuddruckers and dying a lonely death gasping for air 4 weeks later). But it’s difficult to imagine that with

And that is just it right? These people think we all OWE them something. Probably because they’re too embarrassed to admit they are mostly a bunch of fuckup failures who immediately got married out of high school and got shit jobs and had a litter of children to boot. Self entitled assholes. Every single one of them.

I mean the photos of these people standing out there demanding that the state they live in re-open WHILE WEARING MASKS is too fucking much. I need a haircut whines one Karen. I want to play golf says a Tyler in his Polo jacket. My kids need to go to school and learn whines one opiate addicted shrill Karen. Fuck you

Funniest part of this? Most of the white folks engaging in the protests have very little white privilege to fight this hard for. Getting undeserved promotions at the manufacturing plant that’s being phased out ain’t what it used to be.

Emily, that Jeff Bezos “Guardian” link is currently pointing to the Texas Tribune.

Yup. They put him on the Forbes 400 on his own (or rather, his alter-ego’s) say so.

This is why I call him a “thousand-aire”.

He can’t (won’t) write. He can’t (won’t) read.

“I don’t know, did I hold a rally?” Trump said, waving his arms in a brazen attempt at ducking reality. “I’m sorry, I hold a rally. Did I hold a rally?”

I hope Yamiche Alcindor stays on Trump’s neck like a thyroid node. I hope Yamiche Alcindor stays on Trump’s neck like a bad tattoo. I hope Yamiche Alcindor stays on Trump’s neck like a melanoma he can’t see. I hope Yamiche Alcindor stays on Trump’s neck like that rash in The Outsider by Stephen King. I hope Yamiche

I love this woman.  She is amazing.  She is unflappable, and keeps confronting Trump with facts when he tries to spin things.  If all of the reporters at the White House briefings were as dogged, I’ll bet Trump would stop showing up for them.
