This is a pretty solid list. I would move “Electric Barbarella” up a few spots, put “Rio” into #1, and put “Hungry Like The Wolf” into Honorable Mentions (which I’m thrilled this list has). I find HLTW good, not great. It’s just the song that gets the most play over the radio and if you only know one Duran Duran song…

Why no mention of the HUGE input of Russell Mulcahy in the band works that ended up in Wild Boys? Not talking only about the visual stuff here.

That’s cool. You know, if WB were smart, they’d have the full library of Looney Tunes available to watch on their platform, especially highlighting it right now as cross-promotion. But Zaslav.

This could be quite fun if they just stick with classic Looney Tunes (or even Tiny Toons) goofiness without trying to make it a modern movie plot like Disney or Pixar where The Plot and The Lesson are paramount. Yes, technically there will be a plot, but with Looney Tunes I’m there for the dialogue and the gags.

It would be kind of funny if Fraser, himself, broke into the editing room and swapped out a more subtle take for the loud one. I imagine him in full cat-burglar regalia, rappelling down from the ceiling. 

That’s really nice. It looks very well made.

John Carpenter really does not care...

He gives me a very John Ford vibe, which I appreciate. Most questions interviewers ask are absolutely inane.

John Carpenter’s movies, some of them, are tremendous & I think he knows will outlive him & be a legacy that he really doesn’t need to talk up since they speak for themselves

That picture makes it look like he chose the wrong grail but got a slow acting one.

The industry really needs to get the fuck off of Twitter and social media. Same goes for the people writing this crap. Stop giving mouth breathers air.
