Man, this article triggered some sad dudes.

Correction. Her entire drive was to become the next Marilyn Grabowski. Holly tends to skip over her love of photography and the campaign she waged internally to become the next photo editor. She talked some mad shit about Grabowski that was wildly ageist and profoundly sexist. Those of us who worked there can

I am disgusted that modern day Salem has leaned in on its self-branding as Witch City USA—when the victims of the hysteria pleaded their own innocence so fervently, they essentially allowed themselves to be executed rather than pretend to be something they were not. Had they pleaded guilty, they would’ve been spared

the bunny image, for now, anyway, is pretty entrenched into the USA’s general culture as being a “generic pop culture costume” for a ‘sexy lady’. Much in the same was a a “vampire” “Frankenstein”, “werewolf”, archetypes have their generic costumes. (Not a great comparison, obviously, because the monster outfits general

because it’s a free country?

Oh shit, someone else who liked Tommyknockers!

I mean Tommyknockers has a mad breathless energy to it , which was probably because he was running purely on cocaine and beer while writing it. And weirdly the idea of something that gives you power to create all sorts of weird stuff you never would have done on your own , but ultimately destroys you and tries to

They’re both really stupid takes but the town of Salem enthusiastically merchandising its history as a town of “witches,” when the 19 who were hanged went to their deaths rather than falsely confess, is vile. It’s a betrayal of the sacrifice they made. (It’s also a-historical because the bulk of the trials actually

It’s probably more likely linked to the popularity of sexy Halloween costumes. The Playboy costume is essentially lingerie with a pair of ears. You wear lingerie, people ask “what are you?” and you throw on the ears and no one has to guess. So I think the article should explore why sexy costumes are popular, besides

Oh, to look hot?  Who would have guessed.

Call me Tom. Hi!

If you asked me, far stupider things have been sold.

The Playboy Bunny costume is definitely iconic. I do have mixed feelings about it. At DragonCon every year, there’s the legendary ‘Bunny Hutch’ party. Most people going to the party are dressed as some nerdy / cosplay bunny mash up. My favorite was the Colonel Sanders bunny.

Seems like a very long article to make yourself feel better about wanting to dress up to heteronormative standards of beauty. Just enjoy it.

Women like looking hot, but don’t want to say it. It is not politically correct.

Why We’re Still Dressing Up as the Playboy Bunny”

I can’t be the only one tired of women who knowingly made a name for themselves, who actively pursued a career based solely on their conventionally attractive sex appeal, telling me how awful it is to objectify women

I’m glad Madison has found her way to a better headspace, because when she was on the show as one of Hef’s three live-ins, she was a delusional mess. Her entire drive was to get Hefner to marry her. I saw an interview with Kendra Winkonson several years later and she said Madison did anything and everything Hef told

Yes, why do people dress sexily? Especially at Halloween? Gosh, who knows.
