The 20 Best Thanksgiving Episodes That Aren't 'Turkeys Away'.......
I had to double back thru the list to make sure I didn’t miss WKRP’s Thanksgiving episode. Inconceivable it is not on there, had to make room for two New Girl episodes.
Are you fucking kidding me with this? Ignoring WKRP in Cincinnati?
What a turnaround for Indy, who seemed so pro-rocketry when he had his summer job working for Robert Goddard after he returned from service in World War I.
Sounds like someone needs Old Glory Robot Insurance.
Yup. Internet nerds are the worst, especially here.
Whether or not they are correct insofar as the bots may have broken the system, the reality is that ticketmaster is awful and their fees are absurd, AND bots are a major problem. Both have to be addressed for this to not be an ongoing thing.
Wow, how jaded is this place that the premise of Indiana Jones fighting secret Fourth Reich Nazis on the moon receives nothing but cynical eye-rolling and moaning. That actually sounds pretty cool to me.
But everyone already knows there are lots of Nazi sympathizers in NASCAR.
Don’t believe them. ANYONE and ANY BOT with a Ticketmaster account was allowed to enter the ticket queue. It wasn’t until you waited hours to get through the queue that you had to enter your presale code. Had they simply required you to enter the code prior to entering the queue, this all could have been avoided.

Similar to the parental advisory thing in the US, Channel 4 ended up having a warning red triangle in the corner of the screen which Ali G later famously described as “guaranteeing muff”.
In the original comic, there’s a passing reference to how Anne’s daughter Zara (who’d just recently been born at the time) was the highest ranking family member to survive the war and is being used as a puppet by the fascist government.
To my understanding (only a wee’un when she died), Diana was known as being a bit dim. She only got one O-Level at school or something like that, failing all of them twice, despite top private schooling of course.
She was a child of the aristocracy. Privileged, and by nature spoiled and self-centered. The extent to which the Firm expects new members to subsume themselves to the machine runs counter to that type of upbringing, unless like the actual family members they’ve been beaten over the head with “DUTY” since they could…
It’s a small island... :’)
