The fact that Bus Stop is not on this list is blasphemous.

Probably the ones with all the singing and dancing.

Turns out Hugh Jackman is Ryan Reynolds’ ever-present pal.

We also have better taste. Some Like it Hot is delightful.

No, but Lorenzo Semple Jr. did.

Makes you think about how standards have changed. Jackman is 53, has been playing this role for 22 years, and I have no apprehension at all about his physical appropriateness for the role. As opposed to, you know...

Here’s the actual spacecraft impact footage:

There is a difference between Passion of the Christ and Last Temptation of Christ when it comes to brutality and trauma.  All I'm going to say.

Jackman is only 53.  That’s like 30 in Hollywood years.

The Misfits has such a great collection of actors. Gable & Clift couldn’t be more different in technique, and Eli Wallach becomes a character as well as anyone. But Marilyn’s freak-out scene in the middle of nowhere is a master class in performance. The role was written for her by the one writer who knew her better

I didn’t mind that but the weird part to me is Stewart as Prof X has died 3 times on screen in X-men Last Stand, Logan, and MoM.

Nah, that’s still in *the future*

Yeah, for my money, that’s still the best western of the 21st century (Chopper is also a wicked little gem - hell, I even thought Killing Them Softly had some interesting things going on in it), but saying Blonde isjust a movie about Marilyn Monroe” feels like a huge fucking cop-out. Why the hell did you make it,

Some Like It Hot is considered one of the best comedies of all time, and its aged remarkably well for a movie about two guys playing drag to survivor.  The ending line is beyond fantastic.

The minute he had to ask if anyone watches Marilyn Monroe movies anymore, I was convinced he knows fuck-all about Marilyn Monroe.

That’s not a very good game of Asteroid. It’s supposed to break into two after getting shot.

Apparently, she has a serious case of babyface.

I hope they learned the lesson that a series can’t be a never-ending grim slog. There has to be moments of light and humor. Not only does it give the audience a break but in reality it’s also how people survive tragic times. Gallows humor and practical jokes, among other things, are coping mechanisms.

Is this pretty much just going to follow the events of the game?

I’m super excited for this series, but at the same time I kinda feel like it’s unnecessary. The game already has cinematic quality storytelling and emotional performances, being delivered by borderline photorealistic-looking characters. What else can the show give us that the game didn’t already accomplish?
