Not exactly, though she did say she is a fan of QT’s work....
I’d write a longer comment, but right now I have drinking to do..
Vive la France!
If it helps you with your hate, you can take solace in knowing that Alexandre Desplat scored The Shape of Water, and he also works with Polanksi in scoring his recent films. So there’s some guilt by association for ya.
I walk past that joint every day at lunchtime and their lines have not picked up to their pre-food poisoning levels, even with the closing of the Boloco that was a couple doors down. Does his hat say “Jerry Garcia”?
Does anyone else feel like Eliza is part fish from the get go? That the “scars” are vestigial gills, her being a mute orphan, and being “found by the water” as an infant, all point to her being only part human?
You’re the King, Tiny-E!

re: TSOW, it’s because Elisa is not really fully human -the movie makes it pretty clear that she’s always been part fish-person.
I think you’re being way too kind in your criticism, if I was running that comic and the “artist” tried to get away with lifting images directly from the films and passing it off as their art, their ass would be fired.
