The applause in every theatre in the country when Wonka steps out of the factory, and when the Waco Kid falls out of the bunk, should melt that cynic right out of you, for a couple seconds anyway. That moment of shared humanity is worth a fiver.

[cough] The Frisco Kid [cough] ?
Student?
I know what I’m doing this weekend -
I absolutely adore him in Topsy Turvy, who is only eclipsed in that film by the wonder that is Timothy Spall.
Temple of Doom is amazing all around, on many days it is my favorite of the 4 films.
It’s mostly McKimson’s cartoons where Bugs is more of a jerk if I recall correctly. I love the way Bugs looks in his cartoons though, a little wider and fuzzier than (early) Chuck or definitely Friz.
“That’s it, I’ve had it with these cheap suits!”
I haven’t watched it yet, just got the blu ray, but I may get to it this weekend.
I was thinking the first 2015 is actually Bone Tomahawk..
I caught the Death Valley bloom back in 2005, definitely wild.
Narf!
Those Toaster Pastries are the bomb.
More like..
In the case of Boston and Miami, it was more like what happened to those people at the beginning of Ghost Ship.
re: Salem’s Lot, I, and probably thousands of others, were forever scarred by Danny Glick at the window, and “Look at me, Teacher”.
Disney has probably been going over Pirates 5 with a fine tooth comb to make sure there’s nothing that is going to remind people of these events, ditto Warner and Justice League.
