The smaller cons I used to go to back in the day - August Party, Disclave, Balticon, used to have lots of 24 hour stuff that would keep us going, mostly marathon screenings, filking, gaming rooms etc. If you’ve taken over an entire hotel and turned into your personal party palace, it’s pretty easy to find fun around…

I think this was the movie that really cemented it for me, and realize that as a filmgoer, Tom Cruise has been giving me steadily solid output for 30+ years, and he deserves some props for that.
