For starters, it’s not just U/L, it’s all the companies including Doordash, Grubhub, Instacart, Shipt, and so forth. And these, unfortunately, are often the sole source of income for many of the people doing the work. It’s not a gig job to supplement their income.

The fact that U/L’s business model is fundamentally unsustainable is not a particularly compelling argument for allowing them to exploit their workers to help make up the difference.

Never forget that MADD has been run by lawyers for over a decade and the original founding mothers were kick out long ago, so fuck whatever they say about anything these days.

Yes, absolutely. Any car over $60K is overpriced, and the Hummer only exacerbates the issue of people thinking EVs are only for elites with lots of money. Europe and China get sub-$10K EVs, and our cheapest is over 30. It’s insane.

Imagine thinking cars aren’t politics in 2020. Ram releasing a truck which achieves ten real-world miles per gallon is a political statement.

It’s literally my job, but did you miss the positive points? I feel like you missed the several paragraphs of praise that I heaped on this thing.

so its a wrangler? speaking of prostitution towns one of the fear mongering politican ads here in central tx is that if we elect this woman she will legalize prostitution. if texas was as pro business as it claims to be i dont see why that would be an issue.

What was awesome in 2004 is definitely not awesome in 2020, pile of receipts or not.

“What do we want?”

Drive that to the grocery store and tell me it’s the same thing.

Unfortunately this is starting to remind me more of right wing militias found throughout Latin America. The whole right/ left thing with the right side getting official support from law enforcement and military as well as the USA.

1) Ran a red light only after charging protesters

1) It was a red light for the driver

“A Trial Lawyer” is actually Hakim Gibson’s lawyer just looking for some advice.

For being a Trial Lawyer, you’re pretty shitty at your job. Those questions basically answered themselves and didn’t help your case.

Well, if I hit any of them, I certainly wouldn’t drive away, as that is Felony Hit and Run right there... but then again, that would require the police doing their damned job.

Well, for starters, I would turn around and find another way. It’s not like you’re just driving along, minding your own business, when a crowd of protesters magically appears out of nowhere and starts pounding on your windows.

Best thing would probably be stay home.
