It sounds similar to coming out stories. They were intensely interesting to me before i came out of the closet and now it's old hat.

He makes movies. Movies are art - even if they're movies you don't like or consider low brow. I don't think you can say that he's not an artist and have an objective leg to stand on.

To me, he'll always be Angel's Vincent Kartheiser.

All I could think of was the DS9 episode with Sisko and Gul Dukat. This is some well trodden territory, I guess.

I really need to know how it is that The Road to Perdition became his favorite movie. I assume it's some sort of a life debt situation.

Did you find it more difficult than Lolita? Because I've read Pale Fire, I loved it, and I'm strongly considering picking up Lolita for my next I-really-ought-to-read-one-of-the-classics book.

I agree, I started really enjoying Sansa's plot in the later books, and I long to see her get her plotting/revenge on before the end of the series.
