as far i can read in post and comments, any normal way to show him the err of his morally reprehensible way has been proven futile, maybe a 10 year lawsuit with countless of sleepless nights will suffice.

open world games are mediocre, often only saved by their story, not their gameplay. i really don’t care how the map is made as long as designers keep copy-pasting collectibles with gamer-score points to coax people to play longer than 5 hours.

the issue was never solely micro-transactions, it’s that given the anecdotal evidence of a conservative -75% Nerf of shop prices after complaints, the time invested/rewards ratio for fun is a completely different one from the ratio time invested/rewards for micro-transactions, and given the severity of the difference…

i wish they replaced waypoints along with it. instead, reading a map, compas/sextant, looking for roadsigns and asking the locals. i can’t remember a single place of the last dozen open world games i played due to waypoint induced tunnel vision.

While i like having to practice to improve my efficiency, i feel like i am reaching 30-40% tops because the game is asking you to react at speeds that are just not feasible and divides controls into 3 separate camera types, making it physically impossible to do 2…

Depends on the type of micro-transaction. ones that require alteration of the base game to motivate purchases combined with gambling, coincidentally  present in SoW is most devious, not because they offer extra services for extra money but, because they either predate addiction or deny service (fun) for not paying.
