I think they got into the hang of the flashbacks pretty well this season. Even though Blanca's flashback was justified in that she got a bigger role this season, it was also a useful (and fun) look into her own motivations. So, I'd be cool with a Gina flashback if she was particularly relevant to the storyline.

As Nicky said, Tucky might be the whole person in there who has benefited from prison. Given her abusive background, I can definitely see how her (relatively) positive relationships in the past season or two have helped her.
