Not even 8, actually, because 1) it didn't last until August '53, and 2) the article specified "midst' of the war, not end of the war. Not a big deal, but a strange thing to put an exact number, instead of, say, "several" when the exact number you use is simply wrong.

Can't really be "nine years after the end" of world war II and "the midst of the Korean war" at the same time, now can it?
