Just gotta get through this, Melania, she thinks as she walks through the whispering wood. Just gotta get through this.

If they have a TV show and call themselves a “doctor”

Bringing it to the boss is important. As a boss, I make it a point never to yell at someone who told me about a mistake. I’m a big guy and can yell really loud. I know telling me you screwed up is a bad experience for you. If I make it any worse, I increase the odds you won’t tell me, and more than anything else,

I’m one of those people that uses donated bodies for education purposes. Med device companies like my own will perform labs for physicians to practice their skills on the particular body part. We order a specimen and bring them to offices, surgical centers or labs for practice. Then we send them back.

Many people feel some anxiety about how their body will be treated, post-death. And not without cause.

Sometimes outside car thermometers are so inaccurate that they feel like random number generators. They’re basically the worst feature of the car, next to the car’s infotainment systems. That’s because [...] they’re actually thermistors.

  • The OnePlus 5 is a cheap smartphone ($480 for the 64GB, $540 for the 128GB) that operates like a much more expensive one.

I know, my point was more that the article should have covered or at least mentioned them for the sake of completeness.

Does this work the same for other desktop and mobile OSes? Given the general headline it seems odd that the entire article is on macOS and doesn’t mention Windows, Android, and iOS.

Uh oh, somebody call Jeff Sessions, we need to put an end to this “running” business before civilization collapses and we all go to hell!

Get your tinfoil hats ready!

That fact that someone needed to come up with a term to describe applying self-discipline is completely reflective of the problem. Everything needs to be catchy. Everything needs a hashtag and a meme. Everything needs a blog post.

This article (or at least the headline) is really, really bad advice for anybody who lives in a city or suburb. Local governments have written laws explicitly addressing this. If you fail to mow your lawn and keep it at a reasonable length, the local municipal government will show up at your house and mow your lawn

I live in chigger-country and appreciate being able to go outside my house without being eat up with bug bites. Also: snakes love high grass, so I’d also like to walk in my lawn without fear of stepping on one of those as well. Lastly, I like to actually go outside and do stuff and not have ass-high grass all around

Except in cases where you’re required to by an HOA, care about your property values, or care about your relationship with your neighbors.

Don’t sleep in. As a matter of fact, I get up even earlier than when I usually do for work. Then your weekend doesn’t just seem longer, it is longer. Plus, don’t do the usual stuff on weekends, stuff like grocery shopping, cutting the grass, you know, chores. It’s so mundane and robot like. Go to stores (not grocery),

Yes! That is definitely something that will be covered. Maintaining lucidity has been an issue for me as well :)

Here’s something I hope you’ll address in a future article in this series: how to keep from waking up as soon as you’re lucid. That’s always my problem — snapping to lucidity seems to jolt me out of sleep entirely.
