2003 revenue split: 55% players, 45% owners
I’m going to take a huge shot in the dark here, just completely random guess: you think we need to make America great again huh? Because if I had to point out a Trump supporter by one comment only, buddy, you’re it.
That would be a perfectly acceptable statement if the system wasn’t set up so young productive players also do not get paid. The “what can you do for me now” attitude should apply both ways.
Ah yes, lets make baseball more like football
You know the cheapskate billionaire owners aren’t gonna pass the savings down to the fans, right? Do you watch baseball games to see owners make money or do you watch to see players compete?
Yeah! Fuck ‘em. Our sainted billionaires NEED to protect themselves from those dangerous players!
Nobody gives a shit. But your tax bracket totally explains your attitude.
oh for fuck’s sake, miss the forest for the trees why don’t you.
Yeah baseball players (especially pitchers) peak well before free agency. Teams Kris Bryant their top prospects and don’t bring them up till June or July to push that back an extra year. If you’re lucky you’re a free agent before 30. Then you don’t get paid because we can find a 24 year old who will only hit 40 points…

First of all, LaMonte reps the Colts GM in the Colts GM’s negotiations with the Colts (or any other team). LaMonte is reping a player in negotiations with a team, of which the Colts GM is a representative.
There was recently an article on si.com by Michael McCann that talked about how poorly the NFL and NFLPA regulates agents and conflicts of interest. The issue discussed in the article was how Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo share the same agent, California attorney Don Yee, and the conflict that arose due to the fact…
So pretty much all major storylines during the Attitude Era were just thinly veiled efforts by Vince to push his politics and flaunt his crimes, right? I mean, Jesus.
Him and Kim Cattrall both.
he also reps Colts GM Chris Ballard
It’s more than 7 years at this point. You’re only including their major league time, when their minor league salary is *also* artificially suppressed. And depending on the player, that can be anywhere from 2 to 6 and a half years before they have the leverage of minor league free agency.
Yeah because the roads are in disrepair and the ones that aren’t are toll roads.
THIS MAKES TOO MUCH SENSE
