I think the consistency with which Reid gets excellent production out of his running game shows otherwise. The guy has had a top 10 (sometimes top 5) offense almost every year with Alex fucking Smith. Complain all you want about how it shits the bed in the playoffs, but there’s no way you can deny he has a huge hand…

In Bill’s defense, who would’ve ever thought Andy Reid would start running the option with Alex Smith and pitch it multiple times to his TE?

The play calling was solid. I mean, Alex Smith threw for TWO (!!!!!) 60+ yard passes. No one saw that coming

I try to be a reasonable person, it’s unreasonable to say BB has never been outcoached. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.

I think most of it was Hunt’s explosive first step. Cassius Marsh is terrible, and Reid getting Hunt busted loose on a seam route with that matchup is brilliant.

Some of it was out-scheming, a lot of it was just the KC o-line manhandling the Pats front 7. Which includes Reid playing into that strength, of course.
