Couple of friends of mine in high school once took a bunch of cherry bombs, tied them together, went to a nearby gas station, went in the men’s room, lit the fuse and flushed them down the toilet and ran like hell. Couple hours later, they went back and checked out the toilet.

Try riding in a bus, taxi or jeepney in the Philippines. The drivers there treat the throttle like an on/off switch.
