The second new car I’ve owned, (the first was a ‘71 Datsun 510) was a first generation (‘73) Honda Civic.

That’s the problem, since most recall notices are sent standard mail (not first class) and are not forwardable.

Another change I’d like to see: The law states that your headlights need to be on from 1/2 hour after sunset to 1/2 hour before sunrise. It should be changed to 1/2 hour BEFORE sunset to 1/2 hour AFTER sunrise.
