They've always suffered a bit from the "corporation so big it doesn't know what all its limbs are doing" thing, but still, it does seem like it's gotten worse in recent years.

I've definitely noticed this with Axiom Verge. It's a different culture of developers. You can't even talk coherently about tech much of the time because they're often using HTML5 or the like and all you know is C++ or C#.
