I find it especially heartbreaking when you read forums and the fans are cheering on the publisher while the developer is forced to layoff your friends and colleagues, through no fault of their own. :-(

I loved the Mako. Please bring it back!
I think I basically prefer game sites to focus on games, and to go to other sites for other things. Could you just add more game-related content?
Looks like Jeremy's going to head up features on IGN. Hopefully they let some of his creativity shine through there.
Does the Onion have a gaming section in need of a reporter?
Universe at War had cross-platform play between Xbox and Windows; nobody used it, probably not worth the investment.
Sometimes I wonder if art is just stupid, and if we should distance ourselves from it. :-P
You can just go to www.axiomverge.com and check out what I've released so far. It's still in progress, so it's not really at a stage where promoting will do much good. But feedback is always appreciated. :) :)
This is more or less the premise behind my game, Axiom Verge. Flicker, slowdown, map corruption, etc., in the name of (hopefully?) fun.
The first couple of days after I start playing an FPS (and often third person games as well) I always get sick, but it eventually subsides. Still I was one of the few to appreciate Hideo Kojima's concern with the fixed camera angles in MGS.
Oh man, I love BFXR. And this thing looks like ModPlug; awesome!!!
End of Nations will be coming out this year as well, and it will be awesome. :)
This was the kind of thing I wanted them to show at E3, but they didn't.
Is that Kevin Smith I see arguing in the comments?
All of the new technology is doomed! There will be nothing to play games on, and we'll have to find something else to do.

I'm inclined to lump Zynga into the latter…
I finished reading the graphic novel recently; it was awesome. Can't wait to watch the animated film.
Hmm, if enough people end up owning one, this could be the thing that makes me finally want to develop for iOS.
I rely on Let's Play a lot for research. It's particularly great when youtube shows a preview as you scrub the timeline (not all videos have this - not sure why). There are usually long plays and speed runs; it's good to compare them. The only thing I usually don't like the accompanying narration, if there is any -…
I'm thinking the 8 goes on its side and it becomes Xbox Infinity. The real problem is what to name the one after that.
