We know about it now, sure. But when the console first launched, it wasn't that widespread. And besides, he misses a couple news stories on Kotaku about Nintendo's ridiculous ID system and suddenly it's his fault?

"At this point."
I can totally see that. It's way better when you don't know what to expect. But I'll ask you this: Did you play by yourself or did you have a companion? If you had a companion, were they actually on the journey with you or were they merely a tour guide, showing you all the secret spots and scarf upgrades and such?…
I absolutely do. The reason why I got bored so quickly with the historical plots in Revelations and III was because they weren't adding anything to the present-day plot. That's the thread that ties everything together and the mystery (and urgency) surrounding it all was what kept me hooked.
Maybe that canceled "Osiris" project wasn't Prince of Persia-related at all. Maybe it was a prototype for an Assassin's Creed set in Ancient Egypt.
Maybe if he could actually follow through on all this big talk of his and put out a decent game, I could respect his opinion more. The fact that we still remember him as "the lead creator of the revered Deus Ex," a 13-year-old game, says a lot about his career.
Yeah but a lot of people can't get Internet access. I have some friends whose family lives in the mountains, so they literally can't get Internet anywhere. Nobody provides it.
Wait, Paul Walker as Agent 47? Seriously? Ohhhh this is gonna be TERRIBLE. I cannot wait.
Now that you mention it, sure, throw some of The Road in there as well. It's the plot of Children of Men—-transport a girl with the key to saving the world from its affliction (because let's be real here, that's why we're transporting her)—-with the world of The Road by day (full of unsavory humans) and the world of…
That doesn't... that doesn't make any sense here. The consoles of today are way, way more powerful than the PCs of 2000. The reason why you don't have individual leaves on every tree in Far Cry 3 is because it just doesn't make sense to allocate that many resources to something like that. In a tech demo, sure, because…
Like what?
Totally agree. The zombies stuff looks so generic and creatively bankrupt compared to dealing with people and just trying to survive. They're mashing up Children of Men and 28 Days Later when they should just be doing the former. Video games have way too much of the latter already.
The idea that you need a clearly defined objective to call it a game is as antiquated as the idea that you need a score.
My favorite was always Madden: Reloaded. The series really fell apart after that.
This would be different. A touchpad is something you wouldn't need to look at to use and isn't outputting any extra information to the user; it's only used for input.
I highly, HIGHLY doubt that. The Steam Box is still in R&D. All Valve said was that it's coming at some point, but that's what they've been saying about Half-Life 3 for the last five years. Sony and Microsoft are just trying to get the ball rolling on the next consoles. They can't wait til E3 to announce; that's…
A lot of resources went into The Last of Us. That's what I'm guessing sank the ship. I was really disappointed by Uncharted 3 as well.
Yeah, I very quickly realized that I don't care enough to go for gold on those. I'd go for having enough to get the extra pink dudes but I never cared about the golds. I'd rather get through the game, which is challenging enough already especially in the last few levels. Hop back into it! Perfect time. Such a fun game.
No, that's been a known fact for a long time. Just something about seeing "Grand Theft Auto" written in that font doesn't make me think about The Price is Right, but seeing a date in it does. It's probably the M.
Price is Right font. I can't not see it.
