I have never seen one of these being driven “gently”

I disagree wholeheartedly without reservation on number 3. It’s harder to have more fun in a new car for under 25k. If you don’t enjoy an Abarth you have no soul and no capacity for fun.

The new Defender is available and looks best with the steelies:

dropped caddies look pretty good on steelies

It looks scary, but it can be perfectly fine. Tons of AC units are mounted to a wall or window without issues.

Safer than this as well:

In my experience with FWD/transverse-engined cars, the engine is positioned slightly ahead of the transaxle assembly, resulting in the need for an excessive front overhang, somewhat unfavorable* weight bias, but allowing additional front passenger space.

I think the overhangs are for aero efficiency and maybe to increase trunk space without intruding much on interior volume and FWD, with the engine in front of the axle, requires overhang for packaging, plus pedestrian safety requirements in the EU—giving more space ahead of the engine allows a lower hood line than a

Bingo. Cab back looks great, but less overhang is better.

It looks slick but in the real world, it is needlessly long for anyone who drives and parks in the city. So many new cars seem to have unnecessary overhang. Hell, my girlfriend’s 2018 Accord is longer than my ‘18 4Runner. In fact, the car would probably look cooler if you cut 8" off the front and 4" off the back.

You can bet Skip Sudduth would’ve caught that Citroen faster if he’d had the manual S8.

It hits all the right buttons here in the Age of Radwood, but gut feeling (the only meaningful metric for a unicorn like this) is that fifteen large is too much. What’s the going rate for good ones in Europe lately? Somehow ten seems more reasonable.

Not having to deal with dealer bullshit is a huge plus one for Tesla Motors. I was also legit impressed the corporate office AND the production factory were both in the US. That’s hype I can respect, actually.

Trump couldve spent 3 weekends at Mar-a-lago with that!! Sad.

Nice frits.

777. I visit the States quite regularly so I’ve got to drive a lot of things that are unheard of in Europe. I’ve tried to steer my daughters away from the airlines as a career, as it’s not what it used to be.

I love Paoli. i kept an apartment there when my data center was in West Chester. There was a bar/restaurant in Paoli that had “Grown Up Mac ‘n Cheese” that was absolutely brilliant.

Even as an atheist, I will always capitalize God when referring to God. In context where God is a proper noun, it should be capitalized. While I agree that MTY19855's comment was likely about belief, capitalizing God in this context is not. It is about rules of grammar. Charlie Brown should be capitalized, too.

who wouldve thunk, good things do come to paoli pennsylvania!
