Show of hands: Who thinks the American remake of "Being Human" is going to be terrible? *hand up* My God — I think it's going to be heinously awful.

My big question is: Does there really need to be a reboot of Spiderman? Frankly I think it's a sign of diminishing imaginations — it's only been a couple of years, movie makers! How about waiting a decade or three before rebooting something that's still somewhat fresh in our consciousness?

Same with adult sharks. If comparing bite pressure to, say, that of a human jaw muscle, then they're pretty equal for the most part. Not scary? OK then, but if you add to that those wicked-sharp teeth, that's still going to f••• you up; and you'll probably bleed to death if you don't get help quickly. So yeah — maybe

@DarthVegan: True, but I sort of considered "Carnivale" to have been something of a sci-fi show. Not their most cohesive or well-done show, but never uninteresting.
