Todd, my man: Joker is the worst template for a Spawn movie. Not only because the script isn’t that good, but mostly because Joker’s whole schtick is to drain all the comic book style from the character and make a “real” “serious” movie.

He uses the words ‘sort of’ so much in that quote that it sounds like he doesn’t even believe it himself at this point.
