I cant tell you how many times ive hear liberals/dems/socialists say “but think of what Fox News will say” over the last 2 years. Who gives a shit what the RWNM says. Even if Bernie and Hillary were literal saints, like Jesus Christ himself came back to earth and proclaimed it, the RWNM would still spin it negatively.

Every fucking time about every fucking issue... unless its their family or friends, they just dont care. To the GOP, empathy is a foreign concept - and its all too clear what they think of foreigners.

Same old story: Selfish, Republican shithead winds up in a situation where they have to actually use the social benefits which they have heretofore spent so much time and effort railing against. Lightbulb turns on over their head and they realize the value of social programs. Lather, rinse, repeat.

But even my father told me he was happy that the bill had passed. I asked him if he understood what it could mean if I lost my health coverage, and he said that he still felt it was the right move for the country.

I’ve basically been in an unending rage for the last 3 months, and it’s exhausting. I’ve reached a point now where I’m just starting to feel like maybe shit like this has to happen in order for people to wake the fuck up to what these GOP criminals are doing to them.

Rape and domestic violence can be considered “pre-existing conditions” under this bill. Let the implications really sink in.
