This is exactly why I love first generation neons. Particularly ones with the DOHC and manual transmission.

Oh, youre right, I totally forgot about the giant lithium battery pack my car has.
The levels of them used in a traditional car versus a normal car....WAY lower.
tell me more about heavy metal mining being better for the environment than a turbocharged grocery-getter....
is iPhone a scheme? Is any other product name made by a brand a scheme? Its just how Ford chooses to market their not explicitly go-fast turbocharged cars.
I love suede and Alcantera. It doesnt get extremely hot/cold like leather, it ISNT impossible to clean if you go to a place like a boot and shoe repair place to get cleaner, and it holds you in place instead of sliding all over, and it doesnt feel like a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am interior....what is your alternative…
Former VW service adviser (worked during the Phaeton era) I’ve never heard of this policy.
Compared to other cars designed in the late 80s and implemented in the early 90s....what are your expectations? Show me other cars that started production around 91-93 that have remarkably better interiors...
It has a Tennessee title transfer, isnt that one of the states known for title washing?
Ideally a German engineer so they cant actually send the person to jail in the US.
I’m reaching back to the 90s here with Spec Neon racing. Ed Peters, a Chysler engineer did so many things that I cant even come close to remembering them all.
Where do you get the cedar scent from though?
Speaking of wood and leather, I would actually like the interior of my car to smell like a humidor. Thick cedar scent with undertones of rich deep tobacco.
Odd, I always thought they were and an hour or so of reading and I cant find anything that explicitly requires one.
Secondary air pumps are a defeat for pipe “sniffers” and totally legal.
They better the EPA rating because the EPA cycle is a cycle...even the highway portion of it has varying speeds. My mom hops on the highway and sets cruise control for 65mph and that speed and relative elevation doesnt change for about 45min. THATS why she gets better economy.
Europe looks at CO2 per mile, so basically whatever you can do to lower fuel consumption will result in a better score. In the US we want not as good of fuel consumption for overall cleaner air.
When I lived in MO there was a problem with state testing in that the state emissions check would look for equipment that didnt exist on diesel cars and the computer didnt know how to handle it. Basically it was a poorly written computer program and treated diesel cars just like gas and thus instalfail for all the…
Whats worse for the environment as well? A slightly higher polluting vehicle or a vehicle that consumes significantly more fuel? What about cars with legal emissions defeats like secondary air pumps that just serve to dilute the exhaust with fresh air before the O2 sensors and before any sniffer could see it. It…
