I'm not sure if that would be with kers activated on the F1 car or if it would need the kers to get there with the v8...still not quite apples to apples.....355ci v8 @ 9000rpm vs 2.4L V8 @ 18000 rpm (which have revved to 20,000)........now…

Oh I'm sorry for almost 2 whole years, NASCAR engines have gone to fuel injection!

Ok I won't say there is no technology. It takes some too keep even. 355ci v8 spinning at 9k rpm for 2 hours straight. I get that. But NASCAR seems to purposely hold back the cars to keep them "old", not to prevent cost or level the playing field but purely to remain old.
I know the drivers are driving the cars, and yet…

Interesting that the H car is quicker sooner and in the mid range...but once they get to somewhere in the 100-120mph zone they seem to even out....Wonder if its just the turbo's starting to run out of their max efficiency zone on both cars (for stock turbos).
