Ranma 1/2 FTW!

27 to 30? Hell, a lot of us pushing middle age have fond recollection of renting Ranma on VHS from the local indie rental shop.

I’m still in a bit of shock over his passing. Hope you don’t mind if I leave some thoughts here:

I still have maybe about 100 original Japanese volumes featuring her work that I bought between 1990-2008 (complete sets of Urusei Yatsura, Maison Ikkoku, Ranma 1/2, Rumic Theater as well as assorted issues of Inuyasha, One-Pound Gospel, the first two volumes of the Mermaid series and her short story volumes).

God damn, it makes me sad seeing Cocoa Fujiwara still on the list. She passed away earlier this year and there’s going to be no proper finishing of the Inuboku story.

Suspended sentencing means they’ll wait til he’s an adult then given another sentence. Kinda like being put on parole until a more appropriate punishment can be found. At least that’s what I understand from it.

I’m actually really satisfied by this punishment. Not only does it give a sense of justice, but it’s rehabilitative as well.

Hey man, do you, he found a niche thing and made it big, living the American dream as they say.

When you reach the center of the Galaxy:

Wanted levels that yield consequences? Underground cave networks? Vast weaponry that can be customized? Endless terrain that can be traversed on foot for weeks? Countless unexplored species? All this on top of space combat and exploration? I will be lost in this game forever.

At this point its hard to tell if people are joking when they ask ‘WHAT DO YOU DO,’ but it’s still somehow a question that comes up often!
