The only people the whole “don’t name the shooters, don’t name their collaborators “ argument benefits are the white right-wingers who are tired of seeing their friends and kids and businesses crop up as the guilty party in every mass shooting.

You can forget about convincing them of gun control. They think that the 2A is the only thing standing in the way of some commie takeover by the Democrats, and any attempt at gun control is really just an excuse for Soros and the DNC to give Antifa free reign to destroy the Constitution and reinstate the USSR. There’s

I’m assuming that the people being polled are exclusively members of Biden’s family - it’s the only way I can think of that he gets to 34%, or whatever he’s allegedly polling at now.

Canadian here: I knew this misleading statistic would come up.

It’s weird how Trump hates CNN so much when they work so hard to go after the Democrats.

It would be kind of great if your employer couldn’t threaten to raise your premiums or go to a worse health plan, right?

CNN hired a GOP operative to shape their coverage of the race, no?

That’s not how it works. That’s not how any of this works.

To those centrists: shit or get off the pot. If you're so fucking stupid that you still think neoliberalism will help you, please just go Republican. We don't need you. We don't want you. Fuck off.

This is insane. 15 second response times. A “moderator” spending more time trying to stir shit between the candidates than they were allowed to reply. This is not a debate - they should have labeled it “CNN Presents SOUNDBITE! The Electoral Edition!”

Well, let me answer you with real life experience. My father was a IBEW Local 3 union electrician since he was 18 until the day he retired a few years ago. He now needs a heart transplant. His hard fought for union insurance — which I was on until I graduated law school — is better than most health insurance policies.

The difference is that Trump’s extremism mostly hurts only the poor, powerless and undocumented workers. Sanders’/Warren’s ‘extremism’ will slightly impact the rich and powerful. Since the moderators, CNN CEO, board members and upper management are both wealthy and powerful, they cannot allow for such.

Funny how we LITERALLY just watched an extreme, norm breaking candidate win in 2016 but somehow norm breaking Dems with big ideas like Sanders and Warren are painted as “too extreme” to win

Shut up, tomato.

their “backwards economy” meant they never stood a chance, but they needed to kill a couple hundred thousand of their own people, because the alternative was modernizing, which would not preserve their prosperity, which they did not have.

This is mental illness.

killing an entire generation of their young men and getting most of their major cities burned to the ground, because the alternative was admitting they weren’t a superior class of people.

I mean, sure, every single one of the Confederate states specifically cited the defense of slavery as a key reason in their formal declarations of secession, but slavery had nothing to do with it.

the best part is that they genuinely thought they were going to win, which was why they picked the fight

damn fort sumter, hurling itself at southern cannonballs like that
