I grew up in Las Cruces, lots of crazy memories from having been brought up in a border town. The city and fans deserve this, apperantly most of the businesses in town gave the day off for fans to go travel to the game. They even gave away free tickets as well. I think she leaned a little too hard into the kitsch and a little too far away from the power pop. The former has always been a part of her image, but it needs to be paired with a song that’s enjoyable even if you’re not laughing at the YouTube video and even if you’re tired of her feuds.
