I remember when this album came out. I was almost 11 and it was in the middle of 90s peak Mariah and we were all still high on Music Box and as soon as it came out, like all my other Mariah albums, my parents got it for me on cassette.

Thank you! People on this site are roasting Matt Damon for saying the EXACT thing that people on this site are saying. What the fuck is going on?

I’m not sure what you are asking. He has done a lot worse than that, and the photo thing was hugely not okay to begin with.

That’s fair. But then, wouldn’t this have been smart to think about in the 3-4 weeks before franken announced his resignation? Instead, they waited until several days after his replacement was named to go on TV with this? It just seems like a weird, counterproductive approach that fails on every level.

This is the only Christmas song that warms the cold, bitter lump of coal I have in place of a heart. If I am driving and you try to change my radio when this song is playing, I will pull over and make you get out.

It’s okay to dislike your political enemies, but that doesn’t mean you have to be a gullible moron.

This is all in line with Manchin’s choices, which are generally conservative for a reason, plus extra conservative for no discernible reason.

Eh, my GF’s from WVa and I’ve been there a few times now and apparently many politicians in the state are Democrats, they’re just not what many people would think of.

Noooooooope. Replace him and move forward. Don’t play this game.

IF he thinks he can win, and he can STOP groping women on the campaign trail then maybe he should run again. He was a good politician, but a garbage human being. The voters at least have the information now and can make a decision. But I dont think that is a good idea or in anyone’s best interest. Let someone else

I need people to bring the same energy they brought to roasting Matt Damon to taking on Al Franken’s defenders. Cause they’re saying the same thing.

I’m baffled by this decision. Why do they think it’s helpful to pick at this fresh wound? Franken has already agreed to resign and has timed his resignation to coincide with the recess. Minnesota’s Governor has nominated a replacement, Tina Smith, and has at the same time caused a panic among Minnesota Republicans who

Quite a few Minnesotans don’t want him to resign either. (I’m not one of them.) While I can’t bring myself to virulent hatred, I think losing his job is entirely appropriate.

I’ve gotten jaded and side-eye-y to the point that I assume anyone asking him to not resign doesn’t want a precedent set when credible allegations come up against them.

I definitely want to keep her response in my back pocket to pull out when trying to explain this to men.

Love both of these responses but especially Alissa Milano’s.

Her whole story is rather sympathetic. Got her foot in the door via Brent leering on her in front of a national audience, she then got implants and worked the Playboy/Hollywood circuit and wound up with nothing but extras offers and having to remove the implants because of chronic pain, then the whole Farve mess when

It shocks me that Rob Corddry has had the only correct take on Louis C.K., and yet here we are:

...care to explain?

Damon sounds exactly like what I would have expected: a very rich, insulated, famous actor who has a team of people taking care of his every need while he keeps churning out mediocre movies that do better financially then they really should.
