I do not have your car-owning experience (I have only owned 8 cars in over 30 years of driving), but I was not sad to let any of them go. This is likely due to hoping that I was improving the experience with each exchange. As of now, I would regard cruise control and some type of USB port as the two modern things I

Good point. I will never be looking at a Tesla Y - too expensive, at least here in Australia.

I am an average driver at best - there’s always one to spoil your reasoning.

That car has as much RAM as my computer - interesting. As for the appearance, I watched Doug DeMuro’s review and I was surprised that I liked it more than I thought I would. I still wouldn’t buy it even if I had the money (and it would be a LOT more here) - it looks kind of like a fancy version of the lamented AU

I hope it goes well if you do. I am leaning towards this or the KIA EV6 for a retirement car in a few years, though I have seen neither in the metal as yet. I have to carry things around up to six feet long, so this appeals as it has the space behind the front seats - don’t know about the Kia yet. The Hyundai has just

Only an American could describe a 4.6m / 15ft car as ‘little’ - in Europe, all the reviews say how they think it is a big car.  In Australia, the reviews usually say the hatchback appearance makes it seem smaller than it actually is close up.

It can even happen in reverse - my dad and his cousin were t-boned in a Land Cruiser by a smaller SUV which caused them and the boat they were towing to roll more than once.  Shoutout to Toyota - dad and his cousin were left with just a couple of cuts and bruises, while the smaller vehicle was much worse off ( the

Okay - thanks for agreeing with me, I guess?

You killed the scenario with the smoking.  It could be Elle Macpherson (I know she has smoked in the past) and I still wouldn’t go for it.

Yes, I can get behind that - it’s that unmistakeable sound.

Fair enough.  ONJ is always charming, she can’t help it and Gene Kelly is Gene Kelly.

Whoever put Dr S in this list is obviously not concerned for their ‘precious bodily fluids’ :)

I don’t think there’s a world where Xanadu held up when it was released, let alone now.

It’s evidence that what he claimed in the article doesn’t have to be true - I intended nothing more than that.

I spent two years supporting an Android phone for my mother. It’s worth the price of the iPhone to not go through that anymore. If it works for you (and others), that’s great - I won’t be joining you, as it’s not for me.

I did get an iPhone 11 to replace it - the 6 just works well as an internet radio, so why chuck it. I will probably replace the battery when it becomes necessary, as Internet radios are still more expensive than an iPhone battery.

No, it would not. My phones are equivalent size, so it takes up little space. Maybe if you took the battery out and used that to power things, perhaps you might have a similar situation.

It must be a miracle that the refurbished iPhone 6plus I used for 6 years and is still running beside me on my desk as an internet radio is still working then, because according you it shouldn’t be. How lucky am I.

In the world of F1, more people know Martin Brundle than some likely to be ephemeral music person who, if she was interested in the actual sport, would know who he was and why he was there.  Not his or F1's fault here - it’s hers.

John Paul Getty wasn’t French to my knowledge, Mercedes.
