1st gear - We’re not getting the Bronco in Australia which is sad - I would have liked to have seen and maybe driven it.

Cool - I’ve got lots of unsold pieces, they can have them all if I get a Polestar 1

We were camping on Fraser Island off Queensland many years ago and driving through the rainforest, there was a thump on the roof of one of the 4wd vehicles and they stopped. It was a large goanna and that is the closest I’ve been to one. They are big and powerful - I don’t remember how he left the roof, but it would

Water. Not nasty, but certainly annoying. This was my first car - when it rained hard, the passenger footwell would become a mini lake.  After much investigation, it turned out to be a hairline crack in the firewall, which required removing most of the dashboard to fix.  It also explained why it needed hard rain to

Hey, I’m in the Latrobe Valley (Traralgon) about 2hrs east of Melbourne. I’m not vouching for the list I saw, but I’m not surprised you have heaps of Cruisers there - makes sense.

Patsy was driving a pair of coconuts - as explained in the movie, even that was unrealistic at the time :)

Fair enough.

That’s what I have now, and why I wish this had a 2 door like shown above, for when I want to change cars in the future.

If GWM made vehicles that had decent safety ratings I might agree. They sell in Australia, but not that one - and last I looked they were 2 or out of five in safety rating here for the ones they do sell.  That may have changed.

Single, no kids, currently have 2 door ute with lockable cover on a seven foot tray. But thanks for your generalisation.

Two-door enough for you? Seven foot tray, V6 engine. I can’t buy this anymore as we don’t make them in Australia now.  So my next car will likely be an SUV for the carrying length with the seats down.

Sell this and I’ll forget my electric car ideas ever existed. We probably won’t get in Australia anyway, but I have been wanting this exact thing to be made since we gave up making utes here. I too don’t need four seats, but I do need a tray more than 4.5 feet long.

Thanks for the suggestion :)

Hey, what’s that?  I guess you don’t mean the Billy Joel song.

I binged the entire show on Saturday (it’s good BTW) - with a hand in plaster from surgery the day before, there wasn’t much else I could do. I remember thinking - “Many Jalops would love that car”, followed by “It’s in really good condition for an old car”.

Not more practical than what we already have - the skateboard battery arrangement seems to work fairly well for most parameters.  Pass.
