I'm not terribly surprised. These kids are being told by the media and the likes that what they did was horrible. People in authority are telling them what they did is wrong. Adults are telling them that. Of course they're going to pull a knee-jerk reaction and continue on as if they did nothing wrong - they're

I love the contrast, but with my complexion it'd just be embarrassing if I tried to wear those. Either that or the glare reflecting off my skin and clothing combined would blind someone.

My roommate and I just use a whiteboard stuck on the fridge. We don't split many expenses though so things remain pretty simple. The only downside is that it's easily accessible to anyone that visits our house, so the $600 stripper bill someone scribbled up there has gone unpaid for months now.

I just bought it for my Kindle. I'll start reading it tonight.

I've got about the opposite problem for all of these. My self-esteem took such a beating at my first job that I'm still convincing myself that I'm not worthless. The turning point was really my boss yelling at me after a couple beers. I just mentally playback what he said whenever I start to run myself down. It's

Hmm, does it count if you're memorized the recipes? I've borrowed a couple cooking magazines from my mother and found their 5 ingredient recipes and learned to make a couple. Since they're so easy, I've got 'em all memorized and can grab the ingredients and cook them in no time. I don't use measurements anymore and

Argh. I was interested until I saw it's going through Facebook. I just uninstalled the Facebook app on my phone this morning and don't want to tie myself to it in any other way than just checked friend's status updates.

Dear Facebook: keep making changes. I enjoy having my friends finally migrate to Google+ (that is assuming these changes go over as well with users as the recent batch did)

I got prestigious internships by my sophomore year, I had a high-paying job offer within my first month of my senior year, I could have graduated early but opted to stay and get a minor in business... how did I not put enough effort in now? I didn't expect my college to give me anything more than a foundation -

It's unlikely to be any different elsewhere. My real experience came from my internships and not my classes. College gives you a foundation in computer science so you can teach yourself the rest. At least, that's how I looked at it, as my college was the cheap option too. I think it was well worth my time.

I'm gonna disagree with #3. I'd say rather, start saving when you start making money. Not necessarily save for a house though, because it's foolish to buy a house as soon as you get out of school. Not everything falls into place nicely and that amazing job you got may turn out to be an absolute hellhole. There's

What if you have a cat that has already been relocated and is still hiding underneath the sofa after a week?

Oh man, I tried to do my own laundry at my parent's house once. My dad was so offended. I know better now and just let him take the basket and return it all clean and folded. No one does the laundry in my parent's house except for him. No one. We are not allowed to touch the laundry room - that is his domain.

I watched that episode last night. They are amazing.

I really hate to sound arrogant, but I don't think I made any mistakes on college finances. I got a scholarship that paid for tuition but everything else was on me. My parents told me they had no money set aside to help me with and I would be on my own. I worked in the summer, got an internship that paid well, and

Reading the comments in this post has been very interesting, I must say. I cannot comprehend living like that. I moved back in with my parents for about a year after I lost my first job due to discrimination. I was still getting my health back under control though and it actually wasn't terribly safe for me to be

This makes me so happy.

When my friends have their yearly Halloween party the tradition is to make your own costume. We get a couple people using stock sexy costumes (I had to wear sexy Rainbow Brite one year, just because it was Rainbow Brite - my stuffed Twink toy rode around in my almost non-existent cleavage) but mostly people think of

No love for for Rarity from My Little Pony? For shame.

I don't understand what the big fuss is! Personally, I LOVE the new Facebook design. It's finally convinced all my friends to make the jump to Google+
