The crazy ransom note was likely written by one of the parents, probably Patsy Ramsey. I think the killer had to be someone in the family, either one of the parents or the brother, and I tend to think it was the brother.

When I saw it, I couldn't help but think that it MUST have influenced David Lynch, too.
I'm really sorry about that. I hope that you and your wife wind up in a place where you have the freedom to be who you are without fear of harassment.
It's not too late! You can still live the dream!
He was in Bone Tomahawk recently. He was ok, but, as always, he was overshadowed by virtually everyone else in the film (including Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins, who was absolutely amazing).
I would greenlight the fuck out of that!
The timing thing really struck me, not least because I recognize it from a past relationship.
I'll go look that up for you as soon as I pull off these leeches.
…and why does he hate shampoo?
I couldn't agree more. The pacing has always been a bit off, but I didn't mind it so much in season 1. I think it probably should have been a one season show (my only reservation being that that would entail missing Owen Teague blossoming at the end of season 2).
I finished season 2 of Bloodline. I thought it dragged in the middle, but the last three episodes were quite compelling. I came away from it with a new appreciation for Kyle Chandler's performance (by the end of the season, he is terrifying!) and for Owen Teague, who is absolutely heartbreaking as Nolan.
He was good in Gods and Monsters, too.
I had a similar experience. An ex-boyfriend stalked me, and when I told another ex about it, second ex said something along the lines of, "Don't you think it's flattering that he still wants you so badly?" Are you fucking kidding me?!
A rag-tag group of horror movie fans then goes back in time to save Robert Englund and/or kill Skynet.
I went back and edited my post to indicate the spoiler.
[SPOILER ALERT]
He's also really good as the villain in To Live and Die in LA.
Bored by the first Pumpkinhead, I never bothered to see the sequel, as I KNEW it couldn't possibly deliver the awesomeness promised by its subtitle.
A much better source of vitamin A!
I only recently realized that the AV Club has been culling their TV reviews. I just started watching Ray Donovan and am disappointed that the reviews for that were discontinued after the first season.
