Your second chart isn't entirely accurate.

While this all looks bad it might not be what it seems. The issue i see with this it that there isn't just one java implementation, there is also the Harmony project which is Apache's implementation of java, so if the code in question exists both is Oracle's java and Harmony there is a chance google did nothing wrong.

@unruly: the kinect hasn't really been hacked. i'd say that an unencrypted usb protocol has been reverse engineered allowing drivers to be written for it. a hack usually involves breaking through some security measures, and/or exploiting some vulnerability to gain illegitimate privileges.

@Arggh! there goes a...snake a snake!: kind of. if you're talking about the specific device then yes, the iphone has the most votes, but if you group them by platform ios and android are pretty much dead even.

@Les Mikesell: i've got a pair of dv62's i picked up off amazon a few weeks ago combined with a miniwatt ([gizmodo.com] the fidelity is great even with the volume maxed. the base isn't window shattering, but i find them really nicely balanced, maybe a little warm sounding, but for the type of music i listen to that's

This is dumb. Why does a light saber have to be a laser at all. I came to the conclusion long ago that a laser wouldn't work.

while this service looks great, it's also really expensive. It cost $19.99 a month for 100GB!!!! The works out to about 41 cents per gigabyte per year which is about 7 times the cost of buying the disk space yourself, and you can keep the drive forever! ideally it'd be great to find a similar service that provides

i'm all about asking a neighbor to keep an eye on it. sure there is a little risk, but on the only hand, it's a good way to meet new people.
