Okay, I know I’m gonna get shit for this, but this is exactly why I am not jumping up and down at the thought of liberating our bodies and the body is beautiful type of crap. It’s not empowering or freeing in my opinion. It just opens another set of standards by which to judge people. And just for the record, I am not

If people using selfie sticks are getting hit by lightning then I’ve finally found a way to reconcile my belief in Darwin with my belief in God.

So they're going to be charging Black women 64%, and Latina women 54%?

I can and I did.

I was referring to the tendency of white people to want to honor tragedies when white people are the ones suffering, but then encourage everyone to “move on” or “heal” when POC are the victims.

I'm out.

As someone in the industry this blatant attempt to make it about gender is rather upsetting as we,a subculture until as if late have fought against discrimination. And have been in the trenches before her hipster tattoos were prevalent. And yes the little tiny tattoos are the epitome of hipster. Not American

Nothing in her post was even remotely worthy of her feeble attempt at shaming this artist and have it a rallying cry for sisterhood. When in fact this are long held traditions in tattooing, there are reasons. Rather than being an entitled, petulant blog warrior she could have respected Long held traditions in tattoo

I also love how the post itself basically reads like some buzzfeed listicle for “Top 8 Customers Tattoo Artists Hate”

- customers who want trendy, overly precious script font tattoos that will look dated in 20 years
- customers who insist on poor placement
- customers who have had scratch-work done and think that it’s

Agreed! Heartily.

You’re pretty pathetic. I guess that happens when you live in such an insular world that “visitors” throw you into a complete tizzy. Nobody around to easily show you how pathetic you’ve become, you lapse into groupthink. But...you don’t seem to have a group.

I mean, is that .gif supposed to illustrate what this post is? Also, you’re pretty awful, yourself. I know it’s hard to be dumb and unfunny when that’s clearly the opposite of what you’re going for, but at least you’re trying to make up for it with sheer quantity? I dunno, I’m trying to find something redeeming in

God, this is just the pettiest, most bullshit fucking entitled post I’ve ever seen. Jane Marie, you are an awful, whiny, petulant, entitled person. Get fucked.

and you are publicly shaming him because...?

And all that after telling us all what a super-mature grown-up lady she is.

So many things I want to say...

-I love how it’s wrong for him to not do what you told him to do.
-I love how you got the tattoo elsewhere, the same day, and you still needed to write this takedown piece.
-I love how people told you many tattoo artists don’t do necks and you still fumed.
-I love this (fragment of a)

Nope, totally with Dan on this one. Took me a long time to find someone to tattoo my hands. If you want a neck tattoo so bad, Jane, instead of smearing artists who say no, just go to a parlor where gang members go. They’ll hook you up, no problem.

Trap House customer service.

So he refused to perform a service he was uncomfortable with—artists are allowed to turn down commissions—and you are publicly shaming him because...?

I can’t tell if I’m missing something in what you’ve said or if you’re just not familiar with Gucci Mane but suffice it to say I don’t think he ever expected to work in customer service!
