That I do remember. I rolled my eyes so hard when he won and started speaking. That was so ridiculous. But Anne’s speech just came off as standard “I’m so excited here’s a word salad” that most people give. All the scorn she deserved was an “okay, girl.”

And then we all got annoyed that Jennifer Lawrence seemed like she wasn’t trying because she was trying too hard to not be trying too hard. I feel like our pop culture cycle is just ruthless to female talent.
