“I’m not racist...but...”
Wrong. You’re a racist piece of shit.

“you fucking piece of shit cager”. Wow. I had no idea there were militant anti-car fanatics in the bike/motorcycle sub culture; this is a thrilling development.
Sounds like you need a new state.
Sure, like the UVA “rape” case, right?
No one is here to educate you. Especially not me. If the best you can do with google is copy the first thing that comes up without even understanding it, you shouldn’t be posting anywhere.
DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!!!!!!!!!! This may be one of the saddest displays of self importance the internet has seen. If you’re really judge it’s a pretty sad statement on the state of our judicial system.
Ok, well, I know I only have a laypersons understanding of what I read OH GREAT ONE, but from what I understand
The people in your district must be very proud to have a judge that spends hours engaging in internet jousts about the law and calls people “Honey” while defending feminism. Wow, only in America indeed.
Um, I’m not sure how I was supposed to know that, but okays. Please explain to me then why this would not fall under harassment. Please explain to me how we know for sure that he’s guilty if this never went to court. Please explain to me how her signing a legally binding confidentially agreement and then violating it…
I do wonder what his argument is. She did sign a confidentiality agreement after his hearing, and violated it. Legally speaking, he IS innocent, as innocence is the lack of a legal conviction in a court of law.
Oh, thank you so much for this answer. I was a little scurred to post something, because I know that people have passionate opinions here (And they should! It is critical that we support the victims of these kinds of horrific attacks).
Of all the issues, I think the confidentiality agreement is the one that bothers me…
This is what bothers me about this. The crux of this lawsuit is not to blame Emma Sulkowicz nor comment on her behavior (she isn´t even named in the complaint) but to decry the way the situation was handled by the university, specifically that they did nothing to stop her from protesting when legally, it was found by…
They are really rare, but they do happen. I think we owe victims of false accusations protection just as much as we owe victims of rape justice. For clarification, I think this dude is totally guilty, but where do cases like this fit in with our justice system? It’s an important question, and I think we need to take a…
Citing statistics does not advance the argument that this specific incident between individuals, not data sets, did or did not happen. And you should look into what his other accusers considered to be assault. One accused him of following her upstairs at a party and attempting to kiss her. The other decided a year and…
I have felt that way since day 1. He has never been prosecuted and found guilty. To be honest, she seems far from innocent herself...and apparently “No” only means “No” when she wants it to...because she was told “No” to bringing the mattress to graduation. Seems like she is an attention hound opposed to a victim.
“At this point it’s probably safe to say he’ll never see the inside of a courtroom in defense of any rape accusation”
LOL she is an art student. She is unemployable.
Yes, nothing wrong with a national campaign branding you as a rapist for a rape you did not commit. No harm there!
Is she going to drag it to her first job interview as well?
But in that case, isn’t what she’s doing actually harassment, if not also slander/libel? Again, not defending, but if he is legally innocent, he might actually have a case against her/the university.
