Balderdash. There is nothing they are reporting that’s even remotely sexist, xenophobic or racist. These are all talking points cooked up by her PR team. I haven’t an iota of sympathy for Harry and Meghan.  Without the media, the Windsors would have basically zero relevance (at least as much as any other wealthy family).  They have a symbiotic relationship with the media, particularly the “tabloid press” in its British form, where the press gets all this great content…

The Queen is going all out to protect him. When news of the story broke, she appeared in public with him smiling and grinning like nothing was wrong. The whole institution is outdated and needs to go. 

Locking up the pedo in their midst would be so modern though.

The Royal family is about as modern as the Pope is cool. All William and Harry did differently was pick their own wives. Those wives completely transformed their lives to fit into royalty while the men did nothing to change theirs. So THAT didn’t really change.

Meanwhile, the royal-friendly British press has been pumping out countless articles in the last 6 months about an Andrew & Fergie remarriage, in order to inundate the public with a fabricated late-life romance - or re-romance, as it were - to offset the actual news of Andrew’s behavio[u]r.

The idea of a monarchy at all is archaic so all of that wealth, prestige and privilege that was accumilated for doing nothing should be rejected if they really want to modernize anything.

Really don’t think these are comparable hostile environments.

I’ll take out my broad brush here and say that most of Britain’s royal family are completely out of touch with reality. Royalty (and nobility) being out of touch with reality is one of the reasons why most of Europe no longer has ruling monarchies.
